Tom Eadie
Principal EngineerWith nine years of experience in highway and traffic engineering, Tom brings a wealth of technical expertise and a genuine passion for creating accessible, people-centred places to our Active Travel & Movement team. His project portfolio spans the UK, North America and the Middle East, covering a diverse range of project types - from mixed-use developments and film studios to stadiums, stations and museums.
Tom's commitment to active travel is rooted in a belief that schemes should be intuitive and inclusive for all users. This ethos was recognised academically when his master's dissertation - which developed an innovative formula for calculating pedestrian speeds accounting for older adults, families with young children, and the influence of topography - was awarded the highest mark at his university by the CILT in 2024 and subsequently shortlisted for the national Voorhees-Large Prize.
He has managed multidisciplinary projects under NEC3 contracts and built strong working relationships with public sector clients throughout his career - always with an eye on delivering outcomes that are practical on the ground and meaningful for the people who use them.
