Oliver Nevett
Principal EngineerOliver is a Principal Engineer at Mayer Brown and has over 20 years’ experience in preliminary and detailed design projects ranging from small residential accesses to link road design.
Oliver joined Mayer Brown as a Junior Technician in 2003 working on a variety of detailed design schemes in and around London. In 2004 Oliver began working with Mayer Brown’s London Cycle Network Team within the Design department where he worked on the development of the London Cycle Network Plus and Greenways projects on behalf of all the South London and northwest London Borough’s and SUSTRANS.
In 2008 Oliver Joined WSP Group’s Infrastructure Design team in London as a Senior Design Technician. He worked on a variety of high-profile schemes including the 2012 Olympic Route Network, Olympic Village development design and London Bridge Station redesign incorporating the Shard of Glass and pedestrian links with public transport. Oliver has also worked large international projects including the design of Masdar City parking and access areas, Zayed National Museum servicing access and internals and Capital Gate Helipad design all in Abu Dhabi.
In 2012 Oliver re-joined Mayer Brown’s Design team where he has been working on an array of projects in the private and public sectors involving link road design, junction design, 3D level design and sign design.
Oliver was promoted to Principal Engineer in 2023, further developing his interest in Project Management.
Oliver has a wealth of knowledge in many aspects of Highway Infrastructure Design and takes a keen interest in providing the best service and design solutions for his clients. He particularly enjoys the challenges many projects provide and has a proven track record of taking multimillion-pound strategic highway infrastructure projects from planning through the technical approval process, construction and on to operation.
