Oliver Neaves
AssociateOliver joined Mayer Brown in 2006 and has over 17 years’ experience in Development Planning. Oliver has a wealth of experience, advising clients from initial feasibility through to conclusion for a large variety of land uses including food and non-food retail, residential, employment, commercial, mixed-use sites and other specialist schemes such as Power Stations and MOD developments. Oliver’s key skills include excellent communication, problem solving and negotiating, resulting in an admirable record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
Technical experience includes all required aspects to deliver a successful development planning project from initial scheme concept / feasibility and the production of Transport Assessments / Statements, Travel Plans and Environmental Impact Assessments for planning applications through to the negotiation of planning consent and legal agreements and the subsequent discharge of planning conditions implementation of Travel Plans for both residential and employment developments and undertaking detailed transport modelling using ARCADY, PICADY and LinSig. Oliver also has significant experience of using GIS software to produce census based distribution models and accessibility plans.
Oliver is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, as well as a Member of the Chartered institute of Highways and Transport and a Member of the Transport Planning Society.
