Associate - Team Leader (Road Safety)

Martyn manages our Road Safety Team based at our Head Office in Woking, he has extensive experience in collision analysis, road safety remedial engineering and Road Safety Auditing.

He has over 20 years’ experience in highway infrastructure engineering and transport planning, including 7 years’ experience with road safety and remedial engineering.

Before joining Mayer Brown in 2001, Martyn spent 6 years working in the Transport / Parking Section at the London Borough of Richmond. His principle role was the design and implementation of Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs), working as part of a small team.

In 2014 he progressed to lead Mayer Brown’s Road Safety Team. This role involves managing safety related projects within Mayer Brown, including collision analysis, research studies and Road Safety Audits. Martyn undertakes circa 100 Road Safety Audits acting as Team Leader or Team Member (as appropriate) per annum across the UK, including Northern Ireland. Martyn regularly undertakes Audit work on the Transport for London and Highways England network.
