Kevin Chaney
AssociateKevin recently re-joined the company from Atkins after first being employed by Mayer Brown between 2003 and 2013. Kevin has 20 years’ experience in development planning working as a transport consultant for private and public sector clients covering a wide range of land uses including residential, retail, mixed use, commercial, leisure and education development schemes. Personal competencies include advising clients on transport matters, technical report writing and review, client liaison, transport advice and scoping assessments, fee bids, mitigation strategies through sustainable transport promotion, site access solutions and junction improvement design and modelling. Kevin also has experience in development control and freight enforcement and has also been involved in the planning stage of large transport infrastructure projects.
Technical experience includes all required aspects to deliver a successful development planning project from initial scheme concept / feasibility and the production of Transport Assessments / Statements, Travel Plans and Environmental Impact Assessments for planning applications through to the negotiation of planning consent and legal agreements and the subsequent discharge of planning conditions.
Kevin is a member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.
