Farris Alkhatib

Graduate Engineer

Farris is part of the South Coast Design Team based in Christchurch, however works out of the head office in Woking.                                                                                                                                                 

Farris joined Mayer Brown from the University of Portsmouth with a Bachelors (Hons) and master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Throughout his tenure, Farris has been actively involved in numerous projects encompassing both large and small-scale developments, with a particular emphasis on Flood Risk and Drainage Engineering. The scope of these projects has spanned diverse sectors such as residential, commercial, mixed use, retirement/sheltered properties, education developments, and beyond. 

Farris has gained experience and development through undertaking Flood Risk Assessments, designing surface and foul water drainage systems, preparing and submitting Section 106 – application to connect agreements, liaising with Statutory Undertakers to coordinate protection/diversion works or new service provisions, as well as implementing Traffic Regulation Orders.
