Alec joined Mayer Brown in 1997 and has accelerated through the ranks to play a key role in running the business. Prior to this, Alec worked for Powys County Council and the Welsh Office and therefore understands the inner working of local and central government.
Alec concentrates on guiding Clients from both the public and private sectors in regard to transport matters for a large variety of land uses including residential, retail, employment, health, education commercial & leisure projects. Alec applies his 20 years’ experience on a variety of projects from large residential schemes, mixed use regeneration, and education projects. Problem solving and strategising are the most enjoyable aspect of his job which sees Alec provide end-to-end project management culminating in the right result being delivered on time and within budget.
Alec is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation.
