We undertook the detailed design work for:

· Provision of a new priority junction access on Greenhill Road (including a change in priority) with associated footway works.

· Provision of a new priority junction access on Thornden Wood Road (Including a change in priority) with associated footway works.

· Provision of a new spine road (600m approx.) serving the development and linking the two new accesses to the proposed development parcels and the surrounding infrastructure.

The design included undertaking the detailed horizontal and vertical design of the roads, the highway drainage design, signing and road markings, street lighting design and providing a detailed specification to communicate the designs to the Highway Authority and the Contractor.

Our team provided a complete service including undertaking the Stage 1 and 2 Road Safety Audits which were completed by our independent in-house Road Safety team, and Land Compensation Act Risk Assessments which were undertaken by our Environmental Team.

We collaborated with the Bellway Homes Kent team, and Kent County Council as the Highway Authority to successfully obtain Technical Approval for the schemes. With the necessary approvals in place, the works are currently in progress.
