A team of six friends and family (and two dogs) lead by MB Safety Section’s John Reid recently took part in a 10k sponsored walk to raise funds for Prostate Project.
This is a world leading research project base at the Royal Surrey Hospital and Research Park in Guildford.
Some 200 or so walkers took part in support of a number of local charities.
The walk, an annual event, started in Shalford near Guildford and made its way along the banks of the River Wey and the River Arun then via the village of Bramley and over the Surrey Hills before returning to Shalford.
The weather was sunny and hot for the walk through picturesque countryside and we were glad of a refreshment stop en route.
Generous sponsorship by MB colleagues and others enabled the team to raise over £1k which will shortly be presented to Prostate Project.
Thanks to all for their support.
